MSI To Launch A New Custom Cooled Radeon HD 5770

Here’s another upcoming custom cooled Radeon HD 5770 from MSI, the R5770-PM2D1G ‘Channel’. This Juniper-based GPU integrates 800 Stream Processors, a 128-bit memory interface, a core clock of 850MHz and a 1GB of GDDR5 memory set @ 4800MHz. The card also supports all the latest technology including DirectX 11 and CrossFirex, and has dual DVI, HDMI as well as DisplayPort outputs. The R5770-PM2D1G ‘Channel’ should become available soon for around 130 Euro (about $195).

World’s First Graphics Card From MSI That Supports Over Voltage Function


MSI has proudly introduced the world’s first graphics card to support over voltage function from the N240GT series including the N240GT-MD512-OC/D5 and N240GT-MD1G. Based on nVidia’s first 40nm graphics processors, these graphics cards allow the user to adjust both the voltage and the overclocking configurations via the Afterburner overclocking software to increase GPU clock up to 30%. The N240GT graphic card series also supports the DirectX 10.1 gaming standard for running the latest video games and a native HDMI output for superb 3D support and high-definition entertainment. PowerColor Readies PLAY! HD5770 Graphics Card

PowerColor is preparing to launch another custom-cooled graphics card in the form of the PLAY! HD5770. This Juniper-based GPU is equipped with 800 Stream Processors, a 128-bit memory interface, a core clock of 850MHz, a 1GB of GDDR5 memory set @ 1200MHz, an Arctic Cooling fansink (copper base and a 92-mm fan) and several connectivity ports including DVI, HDMI and DisplayPort. I-O Data USB 3.0 Peripherals Shipped


I-O Data today announced three new USB 3.0 peripherals in the form of a 3.5-inch HDD enclosure sold with either a 1TB or 1.5TB HDD, an ExpressCard/34 Card and a 2 port USB 3.0 PCI Express card. All of them support only Microsoft Windows XP, Windows Vista, and Windows 7 in 32 or 64bit versions. I-O Data will release these USB 3.0 peripherals later this month in Japan. [Akihabara]

Elsa Releases GeForce 210 With PCIe x1 Interface

Elsa has released another low-profile graphics card in Japan that features a PCIe x1 connection interface. Dubbed as the Gladiac 210 LP x1, the card integrates 16 Processing Cores, a 512MB of DDR2 VRAM, a 64-bit memory interface and has GPU/shader/memory clock of 589/1360/1000MHz. ATi Radeon HD5850 And 5800 Support DirectX 11

ATi has recently rolled out the ATI Radeon HD 5870 and the ATI Radeon HD 5850, which are the first video cards in the industry to fully support DirectX 11. They are capable of producing 2.72 TeraFLOPS of computing power and are equipped with 1GB GDDR5 memory. Each cards also adopts the “Eyefinity” technology that is capable of driving six 30-inch monitors at once. Unfortunately, there is no info on pricing or availability at this time.

Gigabyte Readies GeForce GT220 Graphics Card


Gigabyte is getting ready to release another overclocked graphics card to its range in the form of the GeForce GT220. Featuring a nice blue PCB, the card integrates a 40nm GT216 GPU, 48 Processing Cores, a 128-bit memory interface, a 1GB of GDDR3 memory, a custom dual-slot cooler with a 80mm fan and factory overclocked frequencies – 720MHz for the GPU, 1567MHz for the shader and 1600MHz for the memory.
