Kaleidescape M300 And M500 Blu-ray Player


Kaleidescape today introduced its new M500 and M300 Blu-ray players which are built on the company’s proprietary M-Class architecture to deliver a new and improved onscreen user interface and Blu-ray support. The M300 is an ordinary Blu-ray player that comes with a price tag of $2,495. Meanwhile, the M500 features the unique ability to copy Blu-rays, DVDs and CDs onto your home server. The imported content can then be played back instantly by M300 and M500 players, creating the world’s first multi-zone movie server for Blu-ray. The M500 retails for $3,995. Hallods Drops A New PMP

Hallods has dropped a new portable media player in Japan called the F264. This PMP boasts a 4-inch 480 x 272 TFT display, an 8GB of internal memory, a microSDHC card slot (up to 8GB), a voice recorder, an FM tuner, a radio recorder, a USB 2.0 interface and a rechargeable battery that provides up to 4.5 hours of music playback or up to 3 hours of video playback. The player also supports most audio and video formats including MP3, WMA, AAC, FLAC, APE, WAV, OGG, MPEG4, FLV (H.263) (H.264), AVI, RM, RMVB, MOV, VOB, DAT, 3GP as well as YouTube video. The Hallods F264 sells for around 17,000 Yen (about $192).

RAmos T11TE HD PMP


RAmos has recently rolled out their latest Full HD 1080p portable media player namely the T11TE. This media player is powered by the Telechips TCC8900 processor allowing it to support most media formats such as H.264, VC-1, XviD, DivX and RMVB video files. Chinese company Newman has come out with their latest HD-capable portable media player known as the Newsmy A18HD. Measuring 143.04mm x 86.13mm x 10.09mm, the device sports a 5-inch LCD display with 16 million colors, a 16GB of storage, a microSD card slot, an e-book reader, a text reader, a voice recorder, 64 games pre-loaded, a USB 2.0 interface, TV-out and supports video formats like RM, RMVB, AVI, FLV as well as HD video playback (1280 x 720). Chinese company Newman is back with another one of its HD-capable portable media player known as the Newsmy A36HD. Measuring only 8mm thick, this slim player comes with rather interesting specs, it sports a 3-inch 400 x 240 LCD screen, an optional 4GB or 8GB of internal memory, built-in speakers, a USB 2.0 port, a TV-out, a 3.5mm headphone jack and supports most audio and video formats including MP3, WMA, APE, FLAC, RM, RMVB, AVI, FLV as well as HD video playback (1280 x 720). Panasonic D-Dock Sleek And Slim iPod Dock

Panasonic today introduced two new iPod docks from their D-Dock series in the form of the SC-HC4 and HC3. These slim iPod docking station provide an AM/ FM tuner, a digital amplifier delivering 20Watts × 2 channels output, a CD player and a SD card slot (SC-HC4 only). The speakers are made of a high quality Bamboo fiber material to make it lightweight and produces deep sound. The Panasonic SC-HC4 will be available in silver, pink and black for 40,000 Yen ($450) and the Panasonic SC-HC3 will be available in silver for 35,000 Yen ($400). iRiver today announced the availability of N20 PMOLED MP3 player. The gadget comes equipped with a 120 x 56 PMOLED (passive matrix OLED) screen with four lines of data, which is enough to display text and simple icons. The iRiver N20 alo supports most of popular music file formats including MP3, WMA, APE, FLAC, OGG, and WAV. The 2GB and 4GB versions are priced at $95 and $110, respectively.

Belkin Releases iPod Touch Cases For Charity

One of the most popular charitable causes for companies to donate money to is cancer research. Belkin has recently released a couple of iPod touch cases that are being sold and part of the proceeds will be given to help find a cure for breast cancer. The DualFit and Grip will be available for purchase in mid-October 2009 for $29.99 each. Belkin will give $2.50 of each sale to cancer research with a minimum donation of $100,000.
