White iPhone HD spotted in wild

A white iPhone HD isn’t exactly a new idea, but according to Apple.pro you’re looking at the real thing lying alongside its black brethren. Going by the second photo – which you can see after the cut – the handset hasn’t been fully assembled yet; there’s a considerable gap around the home button, for a start. Still, the front-facing camera is far more noticeable on this lighter hued model.[slashgear]

iPod Touch With Camera Leaked

Vietnam-based website Tinhte has managed to get the first picture and video of the next generation iPod Touch. According to them, the device will sport a 2-megapixel camera and a 64GB of storage space. Unfortunately, it’s only a prototype at this stage, as you could see it has a DVT-1 (Design Verification Test 1) label on the back, meaning it’s an early design verification test unit in the evolution of product testing. Apple iPad demand "off the charts", new online orders pushed back

Apple looks to be out of stock of iPads in the US and struggling to meet demand in the UK for the launch scheduled at the end of the month.

It seems Steve Jobs, Apple's CEO, wasn't kidding when on the back of selling 1 million iPad's in the first 28 days after launch in the US said that “Demand continues to exceed supply".

According to Apple's pre-order page in the UK and Europe, customers who've dallied over whether or not to get one, and hoping to avoid having to queue up in stores, will now have to wait until 7 June before the manufacturer will ship them an iPad.[pocket-lint]

Apple iPhone HD Prototype’s Sealed Affidavit Now Available Now Available to the Public

Possibly the largest story to break this year, or many years before this in fact, has snowballed into what many would consider a ridiculous scenario that’s unnecessary, for both sides of the fight. While many of the details regarding the iPhone HD prototype’s existence outside a particular site’s hands have been hidden by red tape, most of that has now been cleared up, thanks to a push from other sites like Wired and CNET. Through their pressure, judge Clifford Cretan has issued a ruling Friday that made the affidavit and search warrant of Gizmodo Editor Jason Chen’s home available to the public. It was only a matter of time, but Goldstriker's Stuart Hughes, the designer behind the £2million gold iPhone is at it again; this time with the iPad.

The gold iPad SUPREME Edition is encrusted with 25.5cts of 'IF' Flawless diamonds - 53 in total, individually set within a solid 22ct gold Apple logo. Additionally, the rear and screen surround are made from a single piece of solid 22ct gold.

Of course, considering the company's history, it doesn't come cheap, but at £129,995, it is markedly less expensive than the previous gold iPhone. And, at least, you get the 64GB Wi-Fi + 3G version of the iPad.

iPhone HD Prototype Showing iPhone OS 4 Went Through Photoshop First

At least, that’s what some people have noticed over at the Vietnamese forum. And, as unfortunate as it may be, from the image that goes along with the Photoshop reports, they may be on to something. The torrid affair of the iPhone HD’s life in the public sector, well before launch, is obviously not going to slow down, and even though we brought these latest images to you earlier today (with an update that they could, indeed, be fake), it seems that it may be laid to rest.[slashgear]

Hallods has dropped a new portable media player in Japan called the F264. This PMP boasts a 4-inch 480 x 272 TFT display, an 8GB of internal memory, a microSDHC card slot (up to 8GB), a voice recorder, an FM tuner, a radio recorder, a USB 2.0 interface and a rechargeable battery that provides up to 4.5 hours of music playback or up to 3 hours of video playback. The player also supports most audio and video formats including MP3, WMA, AAC, FLAC, APE, WAV, OGG, MPEG4, FLV (H.263) (H.264), AVI, RM, RMVB, MOV, VOB, DAT, 3GP as well as YouTube video. The Hallods F264 sells for around 17,000 Yen (about $192).
