[WIS 2010 - Preview] S-view to introduce its privacy screen protector for LCD monitors

EIZO’s Upcoming 22-Inch LCD Monitor

EIZO Japan is preparing to launch a new 22-inch LCD monitor ‘FlexScan SX2262W’ for the Japanese market. This widescreen monitor makes use of Vertical Alignment (VA) panel and provides 1920 x 1080 Full HD resolution, 6ms GTG response time, 1,000:1 contrast ratio, 280 cd/m2 brightness and covers 95% of the Adobe RGB color space. In terms of connectivity ports, it offers two USB, dual-DVI and DisplayPort. The FlexScan SX2262W will be available in Japan starting on January 12th for an estimated retail price of $811. Acer Announces A New Multi-Touch All-In-One PC

Acer Japan has announced a new multi-touch all-in-one PC for the Japanese market in the form of the Gateway One ZX 4800-41. The system boasts a 20-inch 1600 x 900 (HD) multi-touch display, an Intel Celeron T3000 processor, a Mobile Intel GL- 40 Express chipset, a 4GB (2 x 2GB) 800MHz DDR2 SDRAM, a 750GB SATA (7200rpm) HDD, 3rd. generation Dolby Home Theater audio and supports for Windows 7 Home Premium OS. The Gateway One ZX 4800-41 will go on sale in Japan starting on November 27th for around 100,000 Yen (about $1,125).

Get Personal With iiyama’s New Touchable Monitor


Japanese manufacturer iiyama is gearing up to release another multi-touch LCD monitor for the European market. Known as the ProLite T2250MTS-B, this new 21.5-inch widescreen monitor provides a Full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, 1,000:1 contrast ratio, 5ms response time and 270 cd/m2 brightness. It also comes with two 1W speakers and both D-Sub and DVI connectors. The ProLite T2250MTS-B will start shipping in Europe in December for 289 Euro (about $430). [TCMagazine]

Asus MS236H 23-inch LCD Available in Japan

Good news for folks who are living in Japan because Asus has announced the availability of its Asus MS236H 23-inch LCD display in that country. The Asus MS236H (Designo MS) provides a Full HD resolution (1920×1080) with a 250 cd/m2 brightness level, a 2ms response time, and a 50000:1 active contrast ratio. This 23-inch LCD screen also supports HDMI and DVI-HDCP. Folks in Japan can purchase the Asus MS236H for 28800 Yen or around $321. [gdgt]

LG Announces Three New XPION Desktop PCs

LG has once again expanded its XPION range of desktop PCs by announcing the S30NP.AR5701, T30KN.ARE701 and A30MF.ARE701. Targeted towards home users, the S30NP.AR5701 sports an Intel Core i5-750 CPU, a GeForce 9600GT 512MB graphics card, a P55 chipset, a 3GB of DDR3 1066MHz RAM, a 640GB hard drive and a DVD SuperMulti drive. Joined by the T30KN.ARE701 that features an Intel Core 2 Duo E7600 CPU, a GeForce G210 512MB graphics card, a 2GB of FFR2 800MHz RAM, a 640GB hard drive and a DVD SuperMulti drive. A Must Have Samsung Full HD Display With An Integrated TV Tuner

The SyncMaster P2770HD is the latest Full HD display from Samsung that has interesting features. The 27-inch HD LCD display comes equipped with an integrated TV tuner, an HDMI input, a 5ms response time, a 50,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, and two 3-watt stereo speakers, which is able to simulate 5.1-channel audio. Other features include Picture In Picture and Picture By Picture modes. The 27-inch Samsung SyncMaster P2770HD is priced at approx. $473 in South Korea.

EIZO FlexScan EV2334W-T 23-Inch Full HD Monitor


EIZO Japan is back with its new Full HD Monitor ‘FlexScan EV2334W-T’ for the mass market. This 23-inch widescreen monitor features a VA panel with 1920 x 1080 native resolution, 7ms (GTG) response time, 300 cd/m2 brightness, 3,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, an EcoView Sense function (power save mode) and an Auto EvoView for automatic brightness adjustments based on ambient lighting. AUO Showcases 14-Inch Full HD OLED Panel

Taiwan’s AU Optronics have showcased their latest 14-inch OLED panel at this year’s FPD International show in Japan. Unlike most 14-inch OLED panels, this particular panel provides 1920 x 1080 FULL HD resolution and is capable of displaying 16 million colors and 72% of the NTSC color gamut. The panel also offers 157ppi density, 100,000:1 contrast ratio, 200 cd/m2 brightness and runs at 120Hz. The company says that they are ready to start mass production of it if it sees enough demand. Acer T230H 23-Inch Multi-Touch LCD Monitor


The T230H is the latest addition to Acer’s LCD monitor range that boasts multi-touch capabilities. This new 23-inch widescreen monitor provides a Full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, 80,000:1 contrast ratio, 300 cd/m2 brightness, 2ms response time and 160/160 degrees viewing angle. LG Electronics of Korea today released the Flatron W30 series notebook monitors (LG W1930S and W2230S) in South Korea. Available in Apple Mint, Jelly Pink, Oreo, Hawaiian and Blueberry, these monitors are designed for netbook users who want to enjoy movies and games in a bigger display screen. Dell has added a new multi-touch LCD monitor to its range by releasing the SX2210T. Samsung Lapfit LD190N And LD220G LCD Monitors

Samsung has rolled out two new LCD monitors for the US market in the form of Lapfit LD190N and LD220G. Designed specifically for use as a secondary display for notebook PCs, the 19-inch LD190N offers a native resolution of 1360 x 768 pixels, while the 22-inch LD220G provides a Full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. Both monitors also features 20,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, 250 cd/m2 brightness, 5ms response time, a VGA output (LD190N) and a USB port (LD220G). Fujitsu DeskPower F All-In-One Desktop PCs


Fujitsu has announced a new series of all-in-one desktop PC, the DeskPower F. The system is available in two different versions, either with a 23-inch, 1920 x 1080 or 20-inch, 1600 x 900 multi-touch display. Both systems are equipped with an Intel Core 2 Duo P8700 2.53GHz processor, a 4GB RAM, up to 1TB hard drive, a Blu-ray drive, Windows 7 OS and a choice of either a digital or analog TV tuner. The Fujitsu DeskPower F series will go on sale in the second half of this month for unannounced price yet.

Toshiba Unveils The First Cell-Powered Regza LCD TV


Toshiba has unveiled its first cell-powered LCD TV ‘Cell Regza 55X1′ for the Japanese market. This new 55-inch widescreen TV uses the same Cell Technology as found in the Sony PS3 for delivering outstanding picture quality. It also offers a native resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, 240Hz scanning, 1,250 cd/m2 brightness, 5,000,000 contrast ratio, an internet browser made by Opera Software, DLNA support, a 7-speaker sound bar, an SD card slot, HDMI and USB ports and a tuner box that includes a 3TB of storage space, with 2TB of that is dedicated to time-shift recording (recording up to 26 hours of programs for up to eight channels). Mitsubishi Electric Launches New 23-inch Full HD Monitor


The latest 23-inch full HD monitor from Mitsubishi Electric comes in the form of the RDT231WLM-S. The monitor provides a 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution with a 5ms response time, a 1000:1 contrast ratio (5000:1 in dynamic mode), and a 300cd/m2 of brightness level.
