40MP Pentax 645D camera gets video demo, one step closer to release
Pentax’s huge medium-format 645D digital camera has had a public outing in Toronto this past weekend, demonstrating its updated Kodak 44 x 33 mm sensor – that has climbed from 30- to 40-mexapixels since we first saw the concept back in early 2009 – and general all-round awesomeness. Shooting a single frame per second, the Pentax 645D is apparently intended for scenery and other still-life photography, rather than anything faster moving. Seagate 3TB Hard Drive Confirmed for a Release Later This Year
After a couple of weeks of rumors, Seagate apparently wanted to clear the air. And so, Seagate’s Senior Product Manager Barbara Craig has finally confirmed that Seagate is, indeed, working on releasing a 3TB hard drive later this year. But, it’s not all going as smoothly as Seagate planned, as they’ve run into a few obstacles. And, sadly, if you’re running Windows XP still, you can’t even get the 3TB goodness, because the drive will require a 64-bit Operating System[slashgear]

Apple iPad demand "off the charts", new online orders pushed back
Apple looks to be out of stock of iPads in the US and struggling to meet demand in the UK for the launch scheduled at the end of the month.
It seems Steve Jobs, Apple's CEO, wasn't kidding when on the back of selling 1 million iPad's in the first 28 days after launch in the US said that “Demand continues to exceed supply".
According to Apple's pre-order page in the UK and Europe, customers who've dallied over whether or not to get one, and hoping to avoid having to queue up in stores, will now have to wait until 7 June before the manufacturer will ship them an iPad.[pocket-lint]
Google Announces Google Phone Store Won’t be Selling Phones Anymore
Well, that’s odd. Back in January, when Google officially unveiled the Nexus One to the world, the other big announcement was the Google Phone Store, where they would be selling the device. The Store wasn’t meant to just sell the Nexus One, or at least that was what the original goal seemed to be. Google’s ideas to sell multiple phones, to multiple carriers seemed like a great idea, until they began to run into some road blocks. Which, apparently, have lead to the result of the actual selling of phones through the digital retail shop.[slashgear]

LG to launch its compact and lightweight DLP projector with LED light 'HX300G'
SEOUL, Korea (AVING) --
Supporting up to 270 ANSI-lumens of brightness and XGA(1280x720) resolution, the HX300G features 2,000:1 contrast ratio, 20 dB of noise level and around 30,000 hours of LED lamp life.
It can project images from 15-inch to 150-inch screen, as well as up to 40-inch screen within the short distance of 1.1 meters. Weighing only 786 grams, it is equipped with a USB port and a HDMI slot.
Available in Black Titan and White, it comes with the price tag of 890,000(KRW).[aving]
